The Cut List Optimiser is an online tool intended to help users plan timber cuts, sheet goods layouts, exports, project files, and related optimisation tasks. We may add, remove, improve, suspend, or modify features at any time.

Some features may be available without sign-in, while others require account-based access. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for any activity carried out using your account session.

Woodchips Online may offer both free and paid plans. Paid access may include time-limited passes, monthly memberships, or other plan structures. Plan details, prices, and included features may change from time to time.

If you purchase a paid feature or plan, billing and subscription management may be handled through Stripe or another payment service provider.

• Monthly memberships continue until cancelled in accordance with the billing settings in force at the time.
• Time-limited passes expire automatically at the end of the purchased access period.
• Cancellation, payment method updates, and related billing actions may be handled through the customer billing portal.
• Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once paid, except where required by law.

You agree not to misuse the website or service. This includes, without limitation, attempting to interfere with the service, bypass access restrictions, reverse engineer the service unlawfully, overload infrastructure, or use the website for fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purposes.

You are responsible for checking your own dimensions, material choices, quantities, and cutting plans before purchasing materials or making cuts. The optimiser is an aid to planning, not a substitute for workshop judgement, measurement checking, or professional supervision where required.

The website and optimiser are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we aim to provide useful and reliable outputs, we do not guarantee that every calculation, optimisation result, export, or suggested layout will be error-free, suitable for every project, or available without interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Woodchips Online will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the website or service. This includes loss of profits, loss of business, wasted materials, project delay, or data loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The website, branding, design, text, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Woodchips Online unless otherwise stated. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the service or its intellectual property.

We may suspend or restrict access to the service where reasonably necessary to protect the website, comply with legal obligations, investigate misuse, address technical issues, or enforce these Terms.

These Terms are intended for a UK-focused website and will generally be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless another mandatory legal framework applies.
